The Muse Blueprint

What are you looking for in a business blog?  I mean what is going to draw your attention to actually click on a story and take the most valuable thing you have i.e. time and spend it to hopefully read something that will help your business if you have one, how to start one if you don‘t have one, or how to help you with your JOB?  Wouldn’t you like to find out?

The reason I am asking this question is because unlike the other bazillion business Schmoorus out there that seem to know everything, I have yet to find “The” answer for this one or even half a dozen answers that actually seem right.  Wouldn’t it be great to not have to sort through all of the BS that is out there?

I realize that the questions are going to be different for everyone depending on where they are in their business or JOB life but I really do want to know what you as the above average Joe or Joette is looking for as far as burning questions that you want answered to help you move ahead.   There has to be at least 7 basic questions that most people have that can really help don’t you think?

Is it a question on Marketing, the Internet, Financing, Getting Started, How To Find a Niche, or even Specific Software that is needed.  Are there 7 basic questions like that?  I aim to find out.

So, going back to what seems like one of the most uncommon commodities that exists today, I thought that I might use common sense to find out and just ask you.

What I am going to do with your help is to have “You” tell me what questions you would like answered and I will pick the top 7 questions that you submit and then myself and a couple of my staff will dig up the best answers out there and then repost the questions with the answers that we have found and see how they jive with your questions and see if they really satisfy your questions.

I am firm believer unlike a lot of relativism out there these days that there are wrong and right answers to most business questions.

For instance, if you have a million dollars to invest in Real Estate and want to make another million in two or three years, there is a right, and a wrong way to do that.  If you know the right way, it is actually pretty easy.  If you do not know the right way, you might kiss the million goodbye.

Do you want to start your own real business from home for less than $500 and make $1,000 extra a month? One that is not MLM or involve training five monkeys and twirling a baton?  There is a basic right and a wrong way to do that too.

The first part of the answer to both questions is self-education and self-reliance.  While this may seem like an obvious answer, it is often overlooked as it seems too basic, but it is not.

My philosophy in all of my successful business adventures has been make sure that you not only do your due diligence and hire the best people possible if you need to but, always do enough research on your own so you understand the process of what is going on so you don’t get ripped off.

This brings me back to the point of this post in the first place.  What questions do you have that are keeping you from your business being more profitable, starting your own business  (aka a Muse) , or be how to be more successful at your JOB?

Perhaps I need to break it up into categories and will do so if need be but I do not want this to turn into a tome either.

I really appreciate you help.  Please note I am not selling a damn thing here.  I just need to scratch this itch of a question that has been bugging me for a few days now so I figured why not scratch it and help people at the same time?

Ok, here is another one that came up because one of my clients asked me about a product that was being sold for $497 (Arghhh) that shows you how to use Videos on your blog, specifically your WordPress blog (which maybe on it‘s way out by the way) . More power to the guy, but here is the F word software that I think he is using as a base for his system. CLICK HERE to take a look at it You can also just insert an iFrame and accomplish the same thing or upload your video to YouTube and past the link in..duhhhh. But then again, maybe not so duhhh. If you are a newbee, I guess you won’t know these things….hmmm Need to remember that more….

The software is called PodPress. The reason I say that WordPress is on its way out as there is some pretty other cool software that I believe is going to knock it out soon. But, they might pull it out if there new release is up to snuff.

You should also have your Blog integrated into your site. We are doing that with all of our new site installs and you can have a whole site for less than what he charges for the software! LOL More power to him if he can sell it. I just hate to see people throw away money like that.

I Thought I Knew……….

As I sit doing my every once in a while inventory of what is swimming around in my noodle I come to think about what The Muse Blueprint does for people in changing the way they “thought” that a business had to be put together and run. It is turning what they thought they knew upside down for most people, including myself.

This is not something new for me. My mental world started getting rocked pretty early as my parents seemed to enjoy a somewhat different lifestyle than most. My Mom was a History and English teacher and my Dad worked in the Government with Computers way back when they were the size of a whole building and they were fairly well politically connected and because of this I got to do some very unique things at a young age. I was also encouraged to explore pretty much anything my intellect desired. Got to meet Governor’s, Senators, and Congressman and later on the Kennedy’s and I realized that there was something not quite right with all of them at a very early age.

I hung mostly around adults that were pretty smart for the most part but I actually got to grow up in the country. So, I think I got the best of both worlds in that the farm grounded me but hanging around a bunch of movers and shakers kind of rounded me out a bit. I learned to appreciate the farm much more than the politicians. At least the BS out there came out of the right end of the animals on the farm.

I remember one of the first things that disabused me of the notion that what is out there publicly may not necessarily be true is that you can almost take to the bank that Alexander Graham Bell more than likely did not invent the telephone. Thanks Mom. It was a man named Elijah Gray that in fact did the deed. They actually got to the patent office on the same day and eventually Bell was given the patent. But, Bell used a microphone invented by Gray and it was later admitted by the patent examiner on public record that Bell did in fact bribe him to let him look at Gray’s patent application and thus screw the pooch on old Gray. I was shocked when I learned this as a kid. Every time we went over that in history class I just laughed.

This was kind of when I started to question everything. Little did I know that I should have questioned even more things?

As for what many consider the first true motion picture, you may not know that Edison bribed a studio in France to obtain a copy of the Motion Picture De la Terre à la Lune. It had special effects and stop action footage. He then had it subtitled and made millions off it here in America. The original Director had great plans to come here to accolades and fortunes only to find it everywhere and he was paid nothing for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbGd_240ynk you can see it with a modern soundtrack.

The other biggy that I actually discovered on my own by looking through some books from the 20s and 30’s was the in all likelihood the Wright brothers were not the first in powered flight and that in fact more than likely they were the 3rd in flight. Richard Pearse, in Waitohi, New Zealand flew in March 31, 1902. Even before Pearse, in 1899 there was Gustave Albin Whitehead that according to several Newspaper’s and eyewitness reports flew nearly half of a mile well before the Wright’s were in the picture. He did so with dozens of reliable witnesses and there is documentation that he did over 50 flights. In my book, he was more than likely the first in flight not the Wright brothers. Not only that, when the surviving brother donated the first plane to fly and other items to the Smithsonian in the 40’s he had it written in the legal contract that they could not investigate any other claims of first flight or they would lose the items. He thus put nails in the coffin of any other claims by not allowing them to interview or investigates the surviving witnesses and materials. Pretty smart when you think about it, but since this is true it makes the Smithsonian complicit in a cover up as far as I am concerned. Arghhh.

Did you know that the fax machine was actually invented in the late 1800’s and the TV was invented in the 1920’s by John Logie Baird?

The TV was kept off the market by the President of RCA whom started a personal vendetta and ruined the life of the man that invented it in order to “save” radio and was successful in suppressing the invention until the patent ran out and then he ran with it, nice guy. Baird also invented Radar.

The first remotely guided torpedo was invented in the 1890’s by Tesla and he demonstrated that it actually worked but the Navy thought it was too sneaky. Can you believe it?. Tesla also invented the electric motor that you use every day in your dishwasher and dryer etc.

More recently, did you know that the Doctor that discovered that ulcers are caused by bacteria almost lost his license to practice because the board thought he was nuts? He finally ingested the bacteria and gave himself an ulcer and had another doctor diagnosis him and then he gave himself a massive dose of antibiotic and then went back to the doctor to prove he was cured. Kind of cool, now that is Moxy!

Did you know that P.T. Barnum did not utter the quote “There’s a sucker born every minute” and that a guy by the name of David Hannum did while suing Barnum for something really stupid? Yes, bogus lawsuits were even “in” back then.

Did you know that when the Pilgrims arrived at Plymouth Rock to settle America that the Indians already knew how to speak English and Portuguese? There had been fisherman from Europe coming to fish the Grand Banks for years and had taught them. The Fisherman apparently decided that it was a nice place to visit but you would not want to live there, kind of like France or the District of Columbia. LOL

Did you know that scientists have actually invented a transporter like the one in Star Trek and that it has worked? They have only been able to send one photon so far but it does work. Have not heard too much about that one as of late as I am sure it is now classified, but they did prove that it was possible.

Did you know that by around 45-BC the Greeks actually had invented a mechanical computer that could predict the moons orbit and when there would be an eclipse and that it was not too much bigger than a watch?

Did you know that the US has given away more money to charity than all of the other nations in the world combined?

This one I just ran into the other day when I was double checking some work a VA was doing. I had to do a double check on this one in the US Department of Justice’s database. Did you know that over 80% of all hate crimes are committed against Caucasians by other minorities? That is not what you hear about in the media though.

Did you know that $1 back in the 1940’s was equal to about 20 dollars today? Did also you know that the effective tax rate back then was only 3%? That is why Mom could stay home and take care of the kids if she wanted to.

Did you know that around 1,000 years ago the Vikings were farming in Greenland where there are now Glaciers?

Did you know that since Al Gore’s movie has come out that over 19,000 of the world’s top scientist have signed a petition saying that he is wrong? While this is not surprising to anyone that has studied meteorology, apparently it is to the Weather Channel. http://www.oism.org/pproject/s33p357.htm

You may already know this but, America has produced more millionaires than all of the other countries combined. Did you know that our “poor” live better than the middle class in 90% of all other countries? The US also has the highest percentage of home ownership, as well as the most car ownership.

Did you know that during the 1800″ the Robber Barron’s as they were coined weren’t robbers at all? They actually created more wealth per capita than any other group of people in the history of the world and that one of them actually bailed out the US Government with a personal loan? Andrew Carnegie for instance built over 1,000 public libraries with his own money. Many can be seen in towns all across the East and Midwest. This was before the government got involved with the redistribution of wealth in the 1900’s.

While the unemployment rate is about 4% to 5% here in the US, did you know that it is 15% in Sweden and some say as high as 30% in France? Yea, makes you want to move there..

Some of the other things that I have learned is that good friends are a rare find and that if you replace people that made you cry with people that make you laugh you are much better for it.

Some of the things that I am glad to know is that there still is a Santa Clause, an Easter Bunny, and Leprechauns though. These truths make me happy, especially when I see the smiles they put on kids faces, both young and old.

I also learned that people really can change their life and begin to start their Muse in just 4 Hours. I’ve learned that getting feedback from people that have actually done it is one of the better feeling out there. But then again, success has always been its own reward. I hope that you get to experience it very soon yourself. It feels great, you should try it sometime!

So, I am happy to help people realize what they thought they new about starting a profitable business is just plain wrong. This is a good thing indeed.

Yeee Ha… Howdy everyone!

I love my Muse! There is no other way to put it. The Muse Blueprint has grown up faster and better than I could have hoped for and she is doing great. I am on revision 18 and from the response that I have been getting, people think it is a great tool and most importantly, they are using it as it was intended, to create their Muse.
Is she done yet? Nope, far from it but she gets better every day.

The new 7 Day FREE trial is going well, and I think that I will continue that quite some time. If at all possible as I have said previously, I suggest you offer a $3.00 or under, or FREE trial for you Muse. You will get a lot more customers and the ones that use it will be happy ones. Everyone wins with these types of programs.

I just found two killer apps that are going to really help people and their Muse. Doing some testing first to make sure everything is cool, but they are looking good. I have decided to post videos for nearly every single step of Muse Creation on the Members Website, so that people can follow along and make it that much easier to bring to life a profitable Muse. Will try and post the info on the new apps by the weekend.

Right now, if you have not downloaded the latest version of the MB, I suggest that you do so. There are some valuable goodies in there for sure.

Normally I never purchase anything that does not have a Trial Period or a Guarantee with it and I just was reminded of why I don’t usually do that a few minutes ago. I just got an email about some easy new videos showing you how to set up a website and an auto responder. I am not going to name names as that I that is not very classy. Thought that it might be something that my Members could use and I like to stay abreast of what is out there.

So, I shelled out the $9.97 to the ClickBank account and go my signup. It is also a monthly subscription as well. In case you have not heard, ClickBank has finally gotten around to offering subscription services for membership sites. They are several years behind the 8 Ball which is about the only thing noteworthy about it. That and the fact that you will soon be inundated by solicitations for membership sites.

If you have the latest version of The Muse Blueprint, you already have a much better method to set these up by the way.

The landing page did not give me any chances to cancel, not good. Anyway, I checked my email and looked for the signin. Signed in and nope, nothing for me or my Members.

Dang, it was only $9.97 but still, it is the principal of the thing. Although, if $9.97 is going to do you in, you have other issues to contend with though I would say. It would have been nice to spend it on a movie or something else though. But at least is was payment for a reminder of the “Do not buy anything that you can’t get a trial of, or get your money back from rule”.

It is a good one to follow for everyone. When you and your Muse get your product launched regardless of what it is, if possible, offer a low cost, or no cost Trial Period or a Money Back Guarantee. You and your customers will be much happier for it.

It will also keep most of the Bad Apple customers from sucking up your time. Although there is still going to be the occasionally moron that complains even after they get their money back. That is exactly what anyone is that complains about a product that has a money back guarantee, lets be frank here. Again, if the only thing they have to do is bitch about a product after they get their money back, they have much deeper issues to contend with than your product. I am tempted to include in the email to clients that do this one extra line that says “They have medication for what you have you know”. LOL  Actually, though, my refund rate is less than 1% which is great.

There are people that get your product and it is just not the right fit for them.  You want to make it easy for them.  If they do happen to ask for a refund, try to get back with them within 24 hours.

But by and large, by having the Trial Period or the Guarantee, you are going to make your own life easier and it will actually increase your sales dramatically.

If you do find a product without a TP or G, there is probably a good reason for you not to bother with it, so do yourself a favor and just don’t.
